Suffering
is Optional!
How Much Happiness Can YOU Stand?
If suffering is optional, why is there so much of it
around? Based on the work of
Drs. Gay and Kathlyn Hendricks, leading theorists in
the field of mind-body integration, the answer to this
question lies in a concept called The Upper Limits
Problem (ULP), which simply states that we can
only
tolerate being happy for just so long before we
sabotage ourselves and send happiness running and
screaming from the room. Kind of crazy, huh!

Tips
Take Actions on These Simple Ideas and You Can Experience Greater Happiness Today!
1. Laugh: Intentionally find ways to
laugh. Rent a funny video, listen to a comedian, call
someone you know who always makes you laugh.
2. Be: Spent 10 minutes a day
devoted to simply "being."
Put on soft music, light a candle, close your eyes,
and put all of your focus on the tip of your nose,
noticing each inhale and each exhale.
3. Appreciate: Find three
things/people in your life that you are
grateful for and express that gratitude openly.
